Kristin Emanuel
Graduate Student, Literature and Comparative Literature
Kristin Emanuel is a first-year PhD student in English and Comparative Literature. Her research interests include 20th/21st century Poetry and Poetics, with a specific focus on experimental forms, visual poetry, and the comics poetry movement. Through both craft and critical inquiry, she investigates topics such as extinction, ecological disaster, human/animal embodiment, and feminist renaturalization.
Her poems have recently appeared in The Normal School, Grub Street, and Thrush Poetry Magazine.
