Professor Kurt Beals has won the 2020 Max Kade Prize for Best Article in The German Quarterly.
He won this award for his article “High‐Tech Heimat: Mountains and Mediation in Literature, Film, and Digital Art.” The award recognizes the author of the best scholarly article in German literature and culture studies and recipients are selected each year by the editorial board of The German Quarterly.
