Deniz Gundogan Ibrisim has been awarded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship within the EU Horizon 2020 research programme with her project entitled “Postimperial Memories: Gender and Trauma in the Anthropocene.”
This very prestigious fellowship provides opportunities to acquire and transfer new knowledge and to work on research and innovation in Europe (EU Member States and Associated Countries) and beyond. Deniz will take up her new position as a Marie Curie Fellow at Sabanci University within the Gender and Women’s Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender) and will have the opportunity to work as a visiting scholar at the Freie Universität Berlin.
